Métisse: Métisse Matters>2007 Essay Contest
For Multicultural and Biracial Young Women, ages 14-21

A Magazine for Multicultural Young Women
Métisse young women are a growing portion of the population, and Métisse Magazine Online is one venue that gives this group a voice. Métisse women are a largely under-recognized group – especially by American media. Métisse women are beyond stereotyping because they represent us all. In addition, they can play a key role in our society as bridge builders between groups that frequently misunderstand each other.
